Frequently Asked Questions

What age groups do you work with at Drive Baseball Academy?

We work with athletes ranging from elementary school to college-bound players. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of each developmental stage, with customized coaching for every age and skill level.

Do I need to schedule a consultation before booking a service?

A consultation is not required but is recommended for new athletes unsure of where to begin. Our staff is happy to help guide you to the best program based on your goals and experience.

What’s the difference between private instruction and group training?

Private instruction is one-on-one coaching tailored to the individual athlete, while group training provides structured sessions in a small group format with peer interaction and competitive drills. Both are led by our experienced coaching staff.

Are assessments required before starting a program?

Assessments are not required, but they are highly recommended. Our hitting assessments provide valuable baseline data and allow our coaches to tailor instruction more effectively from day one.

How do I know which training option is best for my athlete’s skill level?

Each service page includes detailed descriptions and age/experience guidelines. If you're still unsure, feel free to reach out via our contact form — we’ll help you find the best fit.

Can I book lessons online, and how far in advance should I schedule?

Lessons and assessments can be booked online. We recommend scheduling at least 24 hours in advance, especially during peak seasons.

Do you offer training year-round, or is it seasonal?

Drive Baseball Academy operates year-round, with seasonal focuses built into our programming. Whether it’s off-season development or in-season support, we’re here to help athletes stay sharp all year.

What equipment should my athlete bring to a session?

Athletes should bring their glove, bat, helmet, turf shoes or gym shoes, and any additional gear they typically use. For strength or performance sessions, athletic wear and a water bottle are also recommended.

Are parents allowed to watch training sessions?

Yes, parents are welcome to observe sessions from our designated viewing areas. We ask that all spectators remain respectful of the training environment.

Do you offer discounts for siblings or multi-session packages?

Yes, we offer discounted packages and membership options that include session bundles. Sibling discounts are also available. Visit our Memberships & Packages page for full details.
